Hey I'm back!
I have had my shabby entry waiting to be posted for a while, but I finally got round to posting it.
As this Christmas card is going to be for my wonderful mum, I used a recessed window as a sort of tribute :) I used some more of my lovely "Oh Joy!" papers from Cosmo Cricket.
The challenge was to use at least three sewing items, including pins. I used pins, ribbon and a safety pin for my 3 items.
I also made a funky door snake out of corduroy- it even had dinosaur spines :P

iPod case(finally!)
Hi Everyone!
This time I truly AM going to show you the iPod Case I made! Using the sewing machine, this great tutorial and some lovely fabric from CJ's Patchworks I created this:
The iPod goes in and then you fold the top over and slide it through the ribbon and put the earphone in through the whole in the bottom. There is felt on the inside to protect the iPod.

Glasses!
Hi Everyone!
Got back from Boggabilla on Saturday, excited knowing that I would get glasses soon!
So here are a couple of photos with them off and on with a blue headband I made (which can be turned out either way) with the sewing machine.
What do you think?
Next post I will show you an ipod case I also made with the sewing machine.

A purple dragon
Hey Everyone!
Well yes, you did hear it right. I have finished making a dragon-a purple one. Her name is Mandy. She has got felt eyes, buttons on her bottom, fancy stiching across her green belly and beautiful silky blue wings.
Here she is hanging up on the wall by thumbtacks(don't fret, the wall is not painted yet!:D). It's a new month, and a new blog background! Hope you like it!
Love you all, Em
