Hey I'm back!
I have had my shabby entry waiting to be posted for a while, but I finally got round to posting it.
As this Christmas card is going to be for my wonderful mum, I used a recessed window as a sort of tribute :) I used some more of my lovely "Oh Joy!" papers from Cosmo Cricket.
The challenge was to use at least three sewing items, including pins. I used pins, ribbon and a safety pin for my 3 items.
I also made a funky door snake out of corduroy- it even had dinosaur spines :P

Recently I went to a crazy mad hatter sleep over party, so as I was feeling creative and inspired when I designed my friends card, this is what I came up with:
:D It took me ages but I finished it and I was very proud :P
This is the technique I used to create the hat: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/boxinabag/ - except I didn't pinch it together at the top and added a lid and a base.
I did as much as I could with the hat before I wrapped it around the box base.
I used:

Decided to try TWO new things: gothic arches and shabby!
Glad to say I loved them both :)
The arch is for the September challenge(music) over at Let's get shabby :

Hi all!
This is the first time I've entered at Sketch Saturday, and the first time I've done a sketch too!I did this to match the mail art envelope I entered in Inkurable Stampers last challenge(except this time I wasn't so dainty with the distress inks :D) I don't really have much to say about this one, since it's using moslty the same things as I used on the mail art. But, there is one particular thing, the white bordering is actually a torn strip from a piece of paper, twisted until it looked like that.

This months challenge over at Inkurable Stampers was mailart. I found this so fun, and I made three :DThis one was actually the second one I did, but it is the one that I am entering into the challenge.
These were the other two. On all three I followed the same process:

Pretty simple, all machine sewn.

Hello! As you probably have noticed I haven't been on my blog as much as I use to. I will show you my apron in the next post.
The sheep is needle felted, and it is roughly about 2" all round. All the coloured balls I felted hard, which usually I am too impatient to do! All the parts were sewn on(thanks mum :D) He definitely is my favourite felting project so far :)

Hi all!
Sorry I haven't been posting much, but it's not Christmas and there's not many cards to do :P
It's my amazing Mum's birthday today, and I made her a card which could be entered into the Inkurable Stamper's Birthday Challenge(#3):
The challenge was to use a technique called spotlighting, which you can find out about here at Sarah's bday challenge #3 post.
It was a pretty simple design, so I don't really know what to say as you can pretty much see exactly what I did :) The stamp is just a mounted stamp, I don't know the brand. The "love you" stamp was from Kaisercraft's "Love" clear stamp collection, and the PP is from the "Kaiser Prarie Lane" collection.
Mum and I made aprons the other day, so I might upload a photo for you :)
Thanks for stopping by,
Em-e

Hey everyone,
This is my Lime tart challenge for this fortnight. I started with Cosmos Cricket christmas papers, but i wanted to use buttons too, and was inspired by some really nice wooden buttons. So here is what came out of it:
I distressed the edges of the paper(what paper I do not know, it came from the brown/orange scraps box :P) and Versamarked a Kimbelery Poloson clear stamp from the flourishes pack. I then used stitching to make baubles of the wood/wood-coloured buttons. And last but not least the text, printed out, distressed and inked.

Hi everyone!
I was very excited yesterday because my very first Whiff of Joy stamp came in the mail! Hooray!
I bought the "Wee and Reindeer" stamp from the new Whiff of Joy designer, Norma Fickel
Here it is on plain paper, embossed:
Coloured with pencils:Coloured with Dove Blender pen and Tombow pens:
Which one do you like best?
These were just about the only photos that I took that turned out today, but hey, better than none! They are of our cat Millie. Even though she wasn't impressed about me annoying her when she was trying to sleep :D
LOL!

Hi Everyone!
Sorry for delay in posts, there will be a few though as well after this, things have joined a waiting list!
Well for this post im going to do my Inkurable Stampers challenge. This month you have to make a Twinchie, a 2"x2" piece of art. There are also inchies(you guessed it, 1"x1"), rinchies (circular inchies) and many more which Sarah at inkurable stampers showed us all the other ones in this post.
Oh, and you have to make a card or a box or whatever you want for the Twinchie to go on. Forget something else! It had to have a Christmas theme.
Anyway, here is mine!
Here is mine, on a simple card.
Love Em.
P.S. SNEAK PEEK! another challenge entry and more desktop backgrounds coming!

Hi Everyone!
I have made a pizza box for the Inkurable Stampers October challenge. Well, not quite a pizza box. It looks like a pizza box and opens like a pizza box, and even smells like a pizza box(just joking :P), but it is sized for a CD and its case. Here is the tutorial (I used different dimensions so it would be the size for a CD).
Hope you like it!

Hi Everyone!
This time I truly AM going to show you the iPod Case I made! Using the sewing machine, this great tutorial and some lovely fabric from CJ's Patchworks I created this:
The iPod goes in and then you fold the top over and slide it through the ribbon and put the earphone in through the whole in the bottom. There is felt on the inside to protect the iPod.

Hi everyone!
Following as I mentioned in the previous post, here are the felted teddies!
The first one I made for one of our gift boxes for operation christmas child. Also if you look over at my Mum's blog, Made by Fee, and browse through the September and August archives, you will find some things about and for Operation Christmas Child.
This one I made for my friend Alex's birthday. She likes blue and loves pandas and she also loves Tatty Teddy's Blue Nose Friends(she also loves teddy bears just like me :D). Mum picked up a Binky (the panda blue nose) and I made a little friend for it(which we dubbed Bunky:D). You can also see the beautiful gift box Mum made for it here.
Hope you like them!

Hey everyone!
Got dust everywhere??? Here it started orange then variated from brown to yellow-brown to hazy to dusty and all over again. Its mostly stopped here, but it is still very windy. I hear the orange dust has made it up to QLD!!! Our fence is brown and a spiderweb on the fly-screen door has gone orange!!!
Anyway, because I am doing China in HSIE, I have made Chinese New Year Decorations.
Chinese lanterns
Fireworks using glitter and some creative shots from Jacob!
(yuck! just went outside, the pool is green is has loads of grass and blown things, the outdoor furniture has got dust all over it and the fence is brown :{ )
Ok, now couple of paintings (not chinese ones)
